Our Story
We're Charlie (17), Evan (15), and Heidi (14) — three siblings from Kilkenny with a shared passion for supporting local communities, local businesses, and the incredible people who make, grow, and create products across Ireland.
Like many families, we've always enjoyed stopping at roadside stalls, honesty boxes, farm gates, and local markets. We've discovered everything from fresh produce and flowers to handmade crafts, artwork, and unique gifts. Every stop felt like uncovering a hidden gem.
But we kept noticing the same problem. Many talented local makers and producers create amazing products, yet most people never get the chance to discover them. Some don't have websites, some rely on word of mouth, and many are tucked away in places only locals know about.
We thought that should change.
As young people growing up in Ireland, we've seen how much talent, creativity, and hard work exists in local communities.
We believe that local makers, growers, artists, craftspeople, and producers deserve a simple way to reach more customers and share what they do with the world.
Trusta was created to help people discover and support local businesses while making it easier for sellers to be found.

People are often surprised when they hear that Trusta was built by three siblings aged 14, 15, and 17.
But that's exactly why we're so passionate about it.
We know what it's like to have an idea and want to turn it into something real. We know the value of taking a chance, learning new skills, and building something from scratch.
And we believe that great ideas can come from anyone, regardless of age. Trusta is proof that young people can make a positive impact in their communities when they're given the opportunity to try.
