Terms of Service

The service

Trusta is a discovery and payments platform for local Irish sellers including honesty boxes, farm stands, and artisan producers. We facilitate listings and payments but are not the seller of listed goods unless stated otherwise.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.

Sellers

• Listings are reviewed before going live.
• You must accurately describe products, prices, allergens, and opening hours.
• You are responsible for food safety, licensing, insurance, and tax obligations.
• Subscription plans and listing limits apply as shown in your dashboard.
• We may remove listings that are misleading, unsafe, or harmful to the community.

Buyers

Purchases are contracts between you and the seller. Refunds and disputes should be raised with the seller first. Online payments are processed by Stripe. Click-and-collect reservations are paid in person at the seller's discretion.

Payments & fees

Stripe handles card processing. Seller subscription fees are billed monthly. Platform payout schedules for seller revenue are described in the seller dashboard.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for indirect losses, seller conduct, or product quality. Nothing limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
